The RE:ENERGY Power Systems Integration Week is one of the leading international technical conferences on the grid integration of renewable energy systems.

Since 2000, the workshop brings together grid operators, power system engineers, researchers, and energy policy experts. The focus: the engineering and operational challenges of integrating high shares of variable renewables — from grid stability and forecasting to flexibility solutions.

The workshop programme is shaped by an International Advisory Committee of 50+ experts from grid operators, manufacturers, research institutions, and universities across 20+ countries — ensuring the topic structure reflects where the field actually stands.

Scientific review by field practitioners

Every submitted abstract is reviewed by Advisory Committee members during the Call for Papers process. They assess technical quality, programme relevance, and originality — the same experts who define the topic structure also evaluate what gets accepted.

Where papers are published

Accepted papers are published through the IET Digital Library and indexed in IEEE Xplore, Ei Compendex, and Scopus — permanently archived and citable as part of the scientific record on renewable energy grid integration.
